Protein is vital


Perhaps many of those who read this article have heard about protein. But fewer know that it’s one of the most important acids which takes part in the functioning of our body, from tissues to organs, from hair to nails on the fingers. About 10 or 15 per cent of energy is provided by these biochemical compounds, the energy that is vital for the growth and repair. Actually they are molecules and one of the components is amino acids which are especially important because they are not stored in the body and can only be obtained from food. As the quantity of these amino acids vary from one product to another it can be found in any animal and plant food. Nevertheless  to benefit from a meal as much as possible one’s everyday diet must be balanced and well thought-out.
It is recommended that man should eat enough protein in 2-3 meals every day, the amount of it in the meals vary for men and women but only slightly. This should be however the one got from plant and animal sources. Animal food usually contains the full range of the necessary amino acids but  there are limits for its consumption because of saturated fats. As you may already guess instead of meat fish or shellfish can be used and it’s even better.
